Our journey...

Hatbugs started in 2023 with a simple idea: to create a beanie that’s both warm and breathable—something that could keep my little one cozy without overheating. As a family living on the East Coast, where outdoor time is such a big part of our life, finding the right hat for kids was a real challenge. Every hat I tried was either too thick, too flimsy, or just uncomfortable.

Frustrated, I decided to make my own. I wanted a beanie that was soft, breathable, and versatile enough to be worn again and again. And so, Hatbugs was born.

From day one, we’ve been committed to creating something special—hats that families can depend on. Our beanies are made from soft cotton jersey with a double-layer design for extra warmth and comfort. Plus, they’re reversible, giving you two looks in one hat.
